Kate Lally

Kathleen (“Kate”) grew up in Corning, New York, which is a small town upstate that, yes, at one time made Corningware. She attended the University of Michigan for undergrad and received a degree in English and Philosophy and was a member of the Gamma Phi Beta sorority. She also attended the University of Michigan Law School because she enjoyed Ann Arbor so much. Kate moved to Chicago to begin practicing in 2005 at Latham & Watkins where she specialized in consumer class action defense. She joined the Chicago office of Lynch Carpenter in 2020 in order to begin working on the plaintiff’s side of consumer class actions. Kate currently lives in Indiana with her partner, Eric Levy, and her elderly cat, Parker. In her spare time, she likes to go out on Eric’s boats and to read.
