Samantha was born and raised in Omaha, Nebraska but has been living in southern California for ten years. She first relocated to Orange County to attend Soka University of America on a full-ride scholarship where she later graduated magna cum laude with a Bachelor of Arts and a concentration in social and behavioral studies. In 2017, Samantha moved further south to attend the University of San Diego School of law on a Dean’s Honor scholarship. While in law school, Samantha was a comment editor for the San Diego Law Review and won multiple moot court and public interest volunteer awards.

After graduating, Samantha first worked at a prominent family law firm in San Diego prior to joining Legal Aid Society of San Diego as a staff attorney representing low-income tenants in eviction cases. Samantha recently joined Lynch Carpenter, which reflects her continued commitment to advocating for the interests of individuals against those with more power, here namely corporate entities. When not at the office, Samantha enjoys cooking, playing board games, and ranking her favorite movies and shows.
