Who We Are
Lynch Carpenter has offices in Pittsburgh, San Diego, Los Angeles, and Philadelphia and has earned national acclaim for complex litigation for plaintiffs. Our team’s core philosophy is to provide the same quality of representation to consumers and other individual plaintiffs as the nation’s largest defense-oriented law firms provide to their clients.
The result is a practice that is both tough and sophisticated, advising diverse clients against some of the most aggressive legal teams in the country. We want to demonstrate as much courage and tenacity as the clients we represent – and get results.
Our cases represent issues of national importance. We take pride in our partners’ diverse skills and backgrounds, as well as the complexity of our cases. Our ever-growing firm routinely holds leadership positions in major national litigation, class-action lawsuits and mass arbitration
Class Action Lawsuits
Strength in Numbers. Justice in Action.
When corporations or institutions put profits ahead of people, we step in to restore balance. At Lynch Carpenter, we represent individuals who have been wronged by deceptive business practices, unsafe products, data breaches, or corporate negligence and unite them into powerful class actions that demand accountability.

What Is a Class Action?
A class action lawsuit allows a group of people with similar claims to come together and take legal action as one. Rather than fighting alone, individuals pool their resources and evidence to stand on equal footing with large companies. This process not only promotes efficiency, it ensures that justice is accessible, even when individual damages may be small. Our team manages every step, from investigation to settlement negotiations.

Are You Eligible to Join a Class Action?
You may qualify if you’ve been impacted by the same misconduct as others, such as unfair charges, product defects, or misuse of personal data. Even if your individual claim seems small, joining a class action can help drive corporate reform and secure compensation for you and others.
Together, we make justice possible.

MASS ARBITRATION
When companies treat people unfairly, we help hold them accountable. Through mass arbitration, a process where individuals file similar claims together, we ensure fairness and push for the compensation you deserve. Even if your claim seems small, it can make a big impact when part of collective action.
What is mass arbitration?
Mass arbitration is a process in which large groups of individuals file similar arbitration claims at the same time, typically in response to shared issues or experiences. It often arises in situations where arbitration agreements limit or prohibit class action lawsuits. By coordinating many individual claims, mass arbitration enables efficient resolution of widespread concerns through the arbitration system itself. This approach has become increasingly common in resolving consumer and employee disputes.

What can I expect the process to look like?
Mass arbitration typically begins when large groups of individuals file notices of dispute – formal letters sent to the company outlining their claims. This is followed by an informal settlement conference, where parties attempt to resolve the dispute without filing. If unresolved, each individual then files an arbitration demand, triggering formal arbitration proceedings.

Am I eligible for a mass arbitration claim?
You may be eligible to participate in a mass arbitration if:
- You are affected by the same issue as others involved such as a common data breach.
- You are bound by an arbitration agreement, usually found in the terms and conditions of a service or consumer agreement
- You have suffered harm or loss either financial or otherwise that could give rise to a legal claim
- You have not already settled or waived your rights to pursue arbitration over the matter.
