AMYREAM

Amy is an experienced litigator with significant federal court experience. Before joining Lynch Carpenter in 2025, she worked for a large international law firm, K&L Gates LLP, where she specialized in mass tort and product liability cases. She also clerked for a United States Magistrate Judge in the United States District Court for the Western District of Pennsylvania, and she has served as an Assistant United States Attorney in the Western District of Pennsylvania, representing the federal government in a wide variety of civil matters, including employment, civil rights, and tort cases.
Amy earned her undergraduate degree from Kenyon College, graduating summa cum laude with a Bachelor of Arts in American Studies. She later obtained her law degree from the College of William & Mary School of Law, where she graduated in the top 5% of her class and was inducted into the Order of the Coif (an honorary scholastic society that recognizes high academic achievement). Amy earned the Legal Skills Scholar award, which honors excellence in research, writing, analysis, trial practice, and client relations, and was on the William & Mary Bill of Rights Journal. After law school, she served as an AmeriCorps volunteer with Habitat for Humanity in Maryland.
A Pittsburgh native, Amy lives in the North Side with her husband, daughter, and pup. Outside of work, she enjoys performing improv comedy and currently serves as the board president of Arcade Comedy Theater.
