Tiffine is a partner with Lynch Carpenter in the firm’s Los Angeles office. She graduated from Pennsylvania State University in 2013 then earned her law degree from Southwestern Law School in 2016. Tiffine began her legal career as a criminal defense attorney before joining a plaintiff-side, civil litigation firm, Yeroushalmi & Yeroushalmi. While at Yeroushalmi & Yeroushalmi, Tiffine successfully opposed a post-judgment motion seeking $1.8 million.

Since joining Lynch Carpenter in 2021, Tiffine has advocated for the little guy. Most recently, she has helped recover millions of dollars in tuition and fee refunds for students who paid for in-person education but received online-only education due to COVID-19, including Quiroz, et al. v. Northwestern University, No. 1:20-cv-04798 (N.D. Ill.) ($4 million settlement); Faber, et al. v. Cornell University, No. 3:20-cv-00467 (N.D. N.Y.) ($3 million settlement); and Dean v. Maryville University of Saint Louis, Case No. 20SL-CC02850 (St. Louis Cnty. Mo. Cir. Ct.) ($2.12 million total settlement benefits). Tiffine has also helped consumers recover bank fees and put a stop to misleading ATM practices, including Weiss v. FCTI, Inc., No. 37-2024-00016908 (San Diego Cnty. Ca. Sup. Ct.) ($10 million settlement) and Schertzer, et al v. Bank of America, N.A., et al., No. 3:19-cv-00264 (S.D. Cal.) ($2.25 million settlement).

Tiffine has been appointed to a leadership position in In re Apple Data Privacy Litigation, No. 5:22-cv-07069 (N.D. Cal.), which involves claims for data privacy violations.
