Patrick was born and raised in Buffalo, New York. He attended Allegheny College where he graduated magna cum laude with a Bachelor of Arts in Economics and was inducted into the prestigious Phi Beta Kappa honor society. Prior to attending law school, Patrick moved to Pittsburgh where he worked for the Bank of New York Mellon, reviewing multi-million-dollar security trades. He obtained his law degree from the University of Pittsburgh School of Law, graduating magna cum laude and receiving the distinguished Order of the Coif honor.
While in law school, Patrick was a managing editor for the University of Pittsburgh Law Review and was also a member of the school’s Mock Trial Team, where he and his teammate ultimately won the school’s Murray Love Mock Trial Competition. After his first year of law school, Patrick served as a law clerk for the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Western District of New York, where he gained valuable, hands-on experience in a variety of practice areas. Patrick joined Lynch Carpenter as a summer associate in 2020 and began as an associate in 2021. His practice areas focus primarily on data breach and consumer protection class actions.
Patrick lives in Pittsburgh with his girlfriend Kelly. When he is not working, he enjoys spending time with friends and family, golfing, being outside, cooking, and watching true-crime documentaries.
