Connor was born and raised in the South Hills of Pittsburgh. He attended the University of Notre Dame, where he received a Bachelor of Arts, magna cum laude, with a double major in Political Science and International Peace Studies. While at Notre Dame, Connor helped found the first LGBTQ student group officially recognized by the university administration. Prior to attending law school, Connor served as a Jesuit Volunteer/Americorps Member at an HIV services nonprofit in Portland, Oregon, and worked on a congressional campaign in Western Pennsylvania. He then returned to the West Coast to attend Stanford Law School.
While in law school, Connor was a co-editor-in-chief of the Stanford Journal of Civil Rights & Civil Liberties, served as co-president of Stanford OutLaw, and spent multiple quarters working in the law school’s Community Law Clinic and volunteering with the Stanford Housing Pro Bono Project. Connor spent his summers during law school as an extern for Judge L. Felipe Restrepo of the Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit, and as a summer associate at Cohen Milstein Sellers & Toll, a plaintiffs’ class action firm based in Washington, D.C. Immediately following graduation, Connor joined the American Civil Liberties Union of Pennsylvania as a legal fellow, where he litigated cases involving voting rights, student speech, prison conditions, and other constitutional issues across Pennsylvania. After his fellowship, Connor clerked for Judge Gerald A. McHugh, Jr. in the Eastern District of Pennsylvania.
Connor joined Lynch Carpenter at the conclusion of his clerkship in the fall of 2023. His practice primarily focuses on data breach, data privacy, antitrust, and consumer protection class actions. When not practicing law, you can find Connor skiing, cooking, or spending time outdoors with his partner and their Australian Shepherd, Piper.
