Dana Tsuri-Etzioni, a Bay Area native, moved down to San Diego in 2016 to study at San Diego State University where she graduated summa cum laude with a B.A. in Journalism and minors in Communication and the Honors College Minor in Interdisciplinary Studies. During her time at San Diego State, Dana was part of the Weber Honors College, The Daily Aztec newspaper, and Best Buddies. Dana was an editor for The Daily Aztec for three years, starting as Opinion Editor and later becoming Managing Editor, and her writing was published in the San Diego Union-Tribune. One of Dana’s favorite memories from her undergraduate education was going to Guatemala to build a school with Hillel. Dana also studied abroad in Thailand where she spent time in Chiang Mai, Krabi, and Bangkok.

Dana took a year off before law school after graduating from San Diego State and worked for the San Diego District Attorney’s Office. Her love for San Diego prompted her to stay in the city for law school, and Dana began law school in 2021 at the University of San Diego School of Law. During her time at USD School of Law, Dana was President of the Jewish Law Students Association for two years and volunteered over 300 hours at the Women’s Legal Clinic. Dana received the award for Outstanding Women’s Clinic Intern upon graduating from USD School of Law in May of 2024.

During law school, Dana clerked for various litigation firms, including those specializing in class actions, family law, and personal injury. Dana has always been passionate about advocating for consumers’ rights, and working in class actions allows her to be a proponent of those rights.

In her spare time, Dana enjoys watching 80’s movies, going to concerts (her favorite is Billy Joel), and writing poetry.
