Originally from Beckley, in Southern West Virginia, Lucia attended West Virginia University, graduating magna cum laude with Bachelor of Arts degrees in both English and Philosophy. During her time in college, Lucia worked in research labs and was a tutor for the athletic department, as well as working in the University’s hospital for two of her four years.

Upon graduating from WVU in 2020, Lucia moved to Pittsburgh to attend law school at the University of Pittsburgh. During her first summer as a law student, Lucia interned at PPG, working with their in-house counsel. During her second year of law school, she clerked for The Honorable Daniel D. Regan in the Allegheny County Court of Common Pleas both in the family division, and then in the civil division. Lucia was also an active member of the Pitt Law Women’s Association, serving as secretary in her 3L year.

Lucia joined Lynch Carpenter as a summer associate in 2022 and began as an associate in the Pittsburgh office in 2023. She lives in Pittsburgh’s Friendship neighborhood and enjoys hanging out with her cat, horseback riding, and frequenting area thrift stores.
