Stephen Connolly is a partner in the Philadelphia office of Lynch Carpenter. He is an experienced attorney specializing in complex class action litigation. His career has been dedicated to representing plaintiffs in federal and state litigation in courts throughout the United States, including cases involving violations of the securities, antitrust, and disability laws. In recent years, Steve has focused his practice on representing individuals who have been harmed by employers’ violations of state and federal wage laws. In that role, he has achieved significant results and helped to obtain the recovery of millions of dollars in back wages owed to employees in state class actions and nationwide collective actions.
As class counsel, Steve also helped to secure multi-million dollar settlements in several notable antitrust cases, including Marchbanks Truck Service, Inc. v. Comdata Network, Inc., Case No. 07-1078 (E.D. Pa.)( $130 million settlement) and in In re Titanium Dioxide Antitrust Litigation, No. 1:10-cv-00318-RDB (D. Md.)( $163.5 million settlement). Additionally, he has represented prescription drug purchasers in litigation against pharmaceutical manufacturers for unlawfully
delaying the release of generic drugs in violation of antitrust laws.
Steve graduated from Penn State University before receiving his law degree from Villanova University School of Law. He is admitted to practice in Pennsylvania and New York, as well as before the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit.
Steve lives in New Jersey with his wife and two daughters, with whom he enjoys spending winters on the ski slopes and summers at the beach.
